Beauty, home wear, shoes and clothing haul...

Hey guys! I have been shopping... again! This time it was to get some clothes for my new job, as, being an office job, I didn't actually have any appropriate clothes to wear. But obviously, I got more than just work clothes, because that would be boring right? haha!

Firstly I got the most AMAZING Harry Potter PJs!

These PJs were from Primark, the top was around £5, the bottoms were £8 and the slippers/socks were around £4. They are SO COMFY! I literally want to live in them, all day everyday, they are so comfy and so amazing!

I also got some simple grey and black dolly shoes for work.

They were a bargain at £5 a pair, from Primark! And they are really comfy too! I especially love the black ones with the gold detail at the front.

I also got some of Primark's slim fit smart trousers, in black and grey.

These were also a bargain at £5 each! They fit PERFECTLY, they offer a choice of leg lengths that I wouldn't have expected as they were so cheap, and they look so much nicer on than normal baggy smart trousers.

The last items of work clothing I got were these two baggy(ish) shirts, one in grey and one in a pale pink.

They are super creased, I know! I have now learned that they crease very easily, so I don't know how well that will go down when it comes to wearing them for work. But they are very comfortable, and look really nice on. They were £9 each, which for Primark is sort of expensive, but they are still cheap in comparison to most shops.

I also got the most gorgeous large grey throw from Primark too! It was meant to be £10 but they were on offer at £7.90.

It is the softest throw/blanket ever, and it HUGE! Definitely big enough for my double bed.

Next, is a boring buy but I needed a laundry basket, and this one matches my bedding perfectly so I had to have it.

This is just one of those pop up fabric laundry baskets, and it is a black and dark grey stripy pattern and matches my bedding 100%. It isn't too big either, so it doesn't look ugly in my room. This was also from Primark and it was £2.70.

I also saw these super cute coasters in Primark too!

I needed some coasters for my bedroom, as it was annoying me when I had a drink in my room I'd put in on my table or desk and it would leave a mark so I'd have to clean it every time. These are so cute, and they were only £2 for a pack of 4 coasters. You can't go wrong with that.

Another boring one, big hair clips.

I got these clips from Primark for when I straighten my hair and I section off my hair, or when I am doing my makeup and I want to move the hair out of my face. These were £1.50 for a pack of 8.

I also got some face wipes from Primark too.

These are so cheap at £1 for a twin pack, and I always need to have plenty of wipes, as I go through them so quickly! I love Primark's face wipes.

Then, from Boots I got some Micellar water, as I literally go through this stuff so quickly!

These were on offer too, half price, and were around £2.29 each. I wouldn't pay much more than that for Micellar water as I get through it so quickly, which is annoying. But these bottles are quite big so hopefully they won't run out as quickly as others do.

Another buy from Primark were these weird looking hair bobbles.

I got these thinking they were those bobbles that don't leave kinks in your hair, and I have had my hair in one of these bobbles all day and so far I have NO KINKS! Yay!

Then, omg, I walk past Debenhams and I saw a sign for Makeup Forever, and I had to go straight in!

I have never owned anything from Makeup Forever, and I wanted to buy the Ultra HD Foundation, but I do not need to own any more foundation right now! So I opted for buying this Smoothing primer, as Nicole Guerriero uses it all the time, soooooo I guess I needed it too! Haha. It was £24, and I would never usually pay that much for a primer, but I guess my brain switched off for those 10 minutes I was in the store, as I was in makeup heaven.

Then I told myself that I'd spent and bought enough, and me and my friend went to MAC! I couldn't walk out empty handed could I?!

I got the Pro Longwear concealer in the shade NW15, which is so light and brightening and perfect for my under eyes! I already love it! It was £17.50 and so worth it!

Lets forget about MAC for a little while, and go back to another buy from Boots. I am yet to find the perfect pressed powder, to set me entire face with, so I got this Revlon Nearly Naked powder.

I have used this once and I am still not sure if it is the perfect one, but I will give it a chance. It was £9.99.

Okay, yes I bought a second thing from MAC, oh no.

I bought the Stone lipstick! OMG, it is GORGEOUS! I am in love love love with it. I am so glad I finally own it. It was £15.50.

So there it is guys, I bought a lot, and now I am skint until I eventually get paid at work! I haven't even started yet so I have no idea when I will get paid, so until then I literally have no money to buy anything :( but this shopping trip was amazing!

Thanks for reading everyone,
Love, Abbie <3

Boots and TKMaxx Haul...

Sooooo, I might have gone to Boots today! Oops, but here is what I bought:

Disclaimer: This blog post was lot more detailed, but the website crashed as I went to publish it and I lost the whole post! Annoying. So this is the second time I am typing it up so it is going to be quick, as it took me over an hour last time, and I don't have the patience to spend that long on it again, haha.

I got an Elizabeth Arden Mascara from TKMaxx, this retails at £22, but I got this for £7.99, which is amazing. I also wanted to get the Revlon Photo Ready 3D Volume Mascara from Boots for £10.99, but managed to get a kit with two of the mascaras and an eyeliner for £7.99, which is AMAZING, so I definitely couldn't say no to it, haha.

I also got the new Benefit Operation Pore-Proof kit, which looks AMAZING. I have wanted it since I saw the preview, so I picked this up without even a second thought, haha.

I love my Natural Collection Blush in the shade Peach Melba, so I got another one in the shade Rosey Glow. I also got a bronzer in the shade Golden Glow.

I picked up one of the Lash Sensational Mascaras as I have only heard good things. I am also running out of my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer so I had to get another one.
Shaaanxo (youtuber) goes on about the L'Oreal Brow Plumper all the time, so when I saw it I had to pick it up as if she raves about it, it must be good! I also got the new L'Oreal Superliner, as it looks so good, and again, I have heard really good things.

I also got a No7 liquid eye liner too, I want to start buying more so that I can find the perfect liner or so I can find one that I find easier to use as I am terrible at applying liquid eyeliner. I also got a No7 brow pencil as my Soap and Glory one will have run out soon, so I wanted to try a new one.
I also got one of the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB creams, as the only one I own is way, way too orange for me, and this one looks light enough so I really wanted to give it a go.
I have also heard people rave about the Wake Me Up Rimmel Concealer, so, again, I thought I'd give it a go.

I picked up a Vichy DermaBlend Full Coverage Foundation, as I have heard quite good things. I am so excited to try it. I have very high expectations especially as it was £18!
I also got the No7 brush cleaner, and I have just tried it and OMG I love it! My brushes were clean so quickly and effortlessly.
I picked up a L'Oreal BB powder too, as part of a 3 for 2 offer, as I needed to pick a third thing and decided to give this powder a go.
I am also super excited to try the new Maybelline Master Sculpt Conour Kit too, and I must say the highlighter looks beautiful.

I got a free gift with my two No7 purchases, which included a Skin Illuminator Primer, a single eyeshadow in a shimmering deep purple shade, and an Intense Volume Mascara.

But the best part of the free gift was the free lipstick voucher for up to £9.95! I had a hard time choosing a shade, mainly because they were all so similar. They all seemed to be pink shades that all seemed the same, there was not one purple or nude shade in the offer, which was annoying as I don't often wear pink shades, but I picked up this one in the end, and it is pretty but I don't know how much wear I will get out of it to be honest.

So, it is safe to say I spent way too much money in Boots today, but I was treating myself because yesterday I found out that I got the job for the interviews I had been too, YAYAY :D! I have just under three weeks until I start so until then I will be buying work clothes mainly now, and possibly a little more makeup. I will update you all when I have bought a load of work clothes and show you all. :)
Again, this was a rushed post as it was the second time I had typed it up. Fingers crossed it works this time, as I doubt I will have the patience to try for a third time today! haha.
Anyway, tomorrow I will be uploading a 'my makeup starter kit essentials' post, so keep an eye out for that :)

Thanks for reading everyone,
Love Abbie

Makeup Look using some of my Beauty Crowd products...

Okay, so I wanted to do a review blog post today about something I bought recently, but something came up and it means I haven't had the chance to take photos of the product and swatches :( so I will put up that blog post tomorrow. But as I really wanted to have a blog post up today for you all I will post about the products I used for this look:

For foundation I used the sample of the Bell foundation I got from Beauty Crowd. As mentioned in my previous post, I liked this foundation but it didn't wow me enough to go and buy the full sized product. It was very VERY thick, and sort of just sat on my face and felt cakey rather than being comfortable to wear. It was medium to full coverage though which, as you might know, I like. But other than that it wasn't that amazing.

As for primer I used my favourite, L'Oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream. Followed by the natural collection green concealer on any red areas. Then I used the LA Girl Pro Concealer, which I LOVE! I definitely think it's a close dupe for Benefit's Erase Paste, in terms of thickness and coverage. I then set the concealer with my usual, MAC's Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder.

For bronzer I used Freedom's Bronzer in the shade 110, which again, I love! I contoured my face using the Freedom Pro Contour Kit in fair. I then used my natural collection blusher in Peach Melba. I then used the Milani Highlighting Powder.
On my eyes I used various pinky and purpley shades from the LA Girl Ultra Palette, but first I primed by eyes with the lightest, almost white, shade from the Freedom Concealer palette! It really is amazing for that! I then used the Freedom liquid liner, which I thought was really nice, it is great if you want to create a really nice thin line! As the brush is so precise and thin. Then I also used the Milani Total Lash Cover Mascara (not pictured), which, again, is amazing! I also lined my lower lash line and water line with my HelenE black eyeliner. I then filled in my brows with the usual, Soap and Glory Archery and Benefit's Gimme Brow.
On the lips, I used MAC's Twig lipstick. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick.

Overall, I liked most of the products I used, but I wasn't too sure that I liked the way this look.
Did you like this look? Let me know :)

I will hopefully have the review post up tomorrow, but if you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know what I will be talking about.

Beauty Crowd Mini Haul Swatches and First Impressions...

So as you might have seen from yesterday's post, I did some shopping online at Beauty Crowd :D
I promised I would take some better pictures, and swatches and possibly some first impressions, so here it is :)

I got a sample of this Bell foundation and primer. I used the foundation today, and I did really like it, but it didn't wow me enough to want to buy the full sized product.

I also got the Milani Illuminating Face Powder in the shade Beauty's Touch. It is really hard to see the swatch from the pictures, being a subtle blush/highlighter, but I do really like it.

You can buy it here: https://www.beautycrowd.com/products/milani-illuminating-face-powder
It retails at £8.

I also bought this LA Girl Ultra Eyeshadow Palette. The swatches was one light amount of the eyeshadow, so I think they are really nicely pigmented given the price!
I couldn't find it on the website but it retails at £6.

I also got one of these Bell lipsticks thrown in too, it is a gorgeous shimmery pink shade. Admittedly it isn't the kind of I would normally reach for but it also means I don't have a colour much like this, but I definitely want to start wearing these kind of colours. It also feels so moisturising and smooth!
I can't find it on the Beauty Crowd website, nor do I know the retail price. I will keep by eye out and update this post as soon as I see they are available.
I also bought the Milani Total Cover Mascara. I have used it twice now and it is amazing! It really gives the illusion of false lashes and you only need 2 coats at the most!
You can buy it here: https://www.beautycrowd.com/products/milani-total-lash-cover-mascara
It retails at £6.
I also bought the LA Girl Pro Concealer in the shade natural. I used it today and the coverage is flawless! It is very comparable to the Erase Paste by Benefit, but as such a lower price. I don't like the applicator too much, but for the quality of the product it isn't too much to put up with.
It retails at £5.
I also bought the Micellar water from Bell. It is so soothing on the skin and feels so gentle. The micellar water I am currently using is one I am not too fond of anyway but it stings my skin when I use it, but this one doesn't do that at all! It feels so nice!
It retails at £4.95.

This was just a quick blog post, again, for you all :)
New blog post coming at some point at the weekend!

Beauty Crowd Mini Haul...

This is just going to be a super quick mini haul post, as I am currently fighting to keep my eyes open, as recently I have had major trouble sleeping and last night I had about 3 hours sleep at the most and it's been like that for a few weeks now, and it is most definitely taking it toll on me now! Ahhhhh, but I really wanted to get a blog post up for you all, so here it goes :)

Being a blogger I was able to sign up and be a part of Beauty Crowd's Pro site, where they sell various makeup products at discounted prices, and with it all so cheap how could I say no? haha.
I got this parcel in the post today, and I was super excited! Look how cute it is...

When I opened it, I saw these two things and I thought, oh I didn't order these, and they were thrown in for free! yay. I got a free lipstick in a bright pink shade and a free sample of a foundation and a primer.

And then to the stuff I actually paid for, how exciting does that all look? Oh, it's just me? Haha. I get way too excited when it comes to makeup.
In the big thing at the top is an eyeshadow palette, by LA Girl, its the Brick Eyeshadow Palette in Ultra. I also got a bottle of micellar water by Bell Hypoallergenic as I just ran out of my previous micellar water and I literally love using it to remove makeup, so I knew I couldn't live without some more!
I also got one of the Milani Illuminating Face Powder, as I have heard so much about them! I got mine in the shade Beauty's Touch. It looks so pretty and amazing, and just WOW.
I also got one of the LA Girl Pro Concealers as, again, I've heard so much good stuff about this concealer. They didn't have the lightest one in stock so I got the shade Natural, but it still looks perfect for my skin tone.
I also got a Milani Total Lash Cover Mascara, the wand looks... interesting, but in a good way! I actually used it today and I love it!

I got all this for under £13! Bargain, right, I know! Amazing.
Thank you Beauty Crowd Pro <3

A first impressions and swatch post will be coming very, very soon!
Sorry for the lack of pictures, but there will be more pictures, that are clearer in my swatch and first impressions post.

:)

Freedom makeup swatches...

Here it is, some swatches from my Freedom makeup haul! I am missing a few items, because they weren't at hand, but most of it is all here, enjoy :)

This is the Pro Melts Lipgloss in the shade just do it, as I said in my haul post, it is a little streaky but if you build it up this reduces.

This is the Pro Lipstick in the shade red wine, it is super pigmented.

This is the Pro Glow in the shade Meow, it is very subtle on my skin tone, but it would still make a gorgeous highlight.

This is the eyeshadow in the shade smoulder 213, this product was already heavily pigmented without the need for layering up the colour.

This is the eyeshadow in the shade gilded 217, a beautiful bronzey gold.

This is the blush in the shade lethal weapon, a super pigmented barbie pink blush.

This is the eyeshadow in the shade brights 227, a light, shimmery purple, absolutely gorgeous centre of the lid colour!

This is the Pro Glow in the shade Purr, this is slightly more pink, I used this as a blush and I loved it!

This is the blush in the shade beyond, a super shimmery pinky orange colour, it would also probably make a nice eyeshadow colour too!

This is the Pro Contour kit in fair, as you can see the highlight is super light, which I love for my pale skin, and the contour (a bit above the highlight) is very subtle, hence why it is perfect again for my pale skin and for an everyday contour.

This is the eyeshadow in the shade gilded 216, a light shimmery pinky shade, again, a perfect centre of the eyelid shade, or even an inner corner highlight shade.

This is the Pro lipstick in the shade Flushed, it is so pigmented and creamy, and just a gorgeous pink shade.

This is the Pro lipstick in the shade sooner or later, which is one of my favourites, a beautiful pinky based nude, I know I will be wearing this a lot!

This is the eyeshadow in the shade brights 228, a beautiful light purple, which took two layers to reach this colour, which is still amazing given the price.

This is the eyeshadow in the shade Brights 230.

This is the lipstick in the shade Far Away, I LOVEEEEE it! This was only about two swipes of the lipstick, it is amazingly pigmented and just a beautiful colour!

Finally, this is the lipstick in the shade Luxe, it is so pigmented and beautiful, I have no idea when I would wear this, but I know I will eventually find an excuse to!

Just a quick little swatch post for you, as it was highly requested on my Instagram.
My next blog post will be about foundation! So keep checking back for that :)
