My eyebrow essentials...

Hi guys, I know I haven't done a proper blog post for agesssssss. But I started my new job just over 2 weeks ago and I am adjusting to life where I have to be up at 6am and get home just before 6pm Monday to Friday, and by the time I get home I am absolutely knackered, so I just haven't found the time to blog.

But today I am going to do a (hopefully) quick, small, blog post about my eyebrow essentials!
I haven't had the time to take photos of the products myself, but I will include the links on where to get them.

Firstly, I have used a lot of different eyebrow products, mostly drugstore/affordable, because I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect eyebrow products for me. And, it is only now, that I feel like I have found my perfect eyebrow products.

I have tried pencils and powders, and I generally dislike powders to be honest, I really have tried to like them but I much prefer using a pencil to draw on and fill in my eyebrows.

FYI I do have eyebrows, I am definitely not one of these people who have shaved them off especially to draw them on!! But, my brows are very none existent, as admittedly I pluck them too much, but only because I used to have BIG BUSHY eyebrows and I NEVER want them to get to that stage again, haha.

So, my favourite eyebrow pencil has got to be the Soap and Glory Brow Archery, which will probably be no surprise as its the only brow pencil I ever use. It is the perfect colour for me, I have naturally black hair, but right now I have black to blonde ombre. And my eyebrows are quite dark, and most pencils are too light for them, or they are BLACK and I am definitely not a fan of the black eyebrow look, not on me anyway. But the Soap and Glory Brow Archery Pencil is perfect! I use the shade hot chocolate.
It retails at £8 and can be bought here:

One eyebrow pencil I WOULD NOT recommend is the No7 brow pencil. It is the biggest waste of money EVER! There is actually nothing good about it.

I also like to set my brows with an eyebrow gel, and I have tried and I love the Benefit Gimme Brow, BUT I have found a better alternative. The L'Oreal Brow Plumper! I bought this because Shaaanxo (Shannon Harris) uses it all the time, and raves about it, and she is not wrong, it is amazing! I can even use this on its own, and use it really carefully and precisely and extend my brows by applying it to my skin (if that makes sense). I use the shade dark brunette.
It is a steal at £5.99 and can be bought here

One brow gel that I wouldn't recommend is the Rimmel Brow This Way in the coloured shades , I do like it, but the thing that lets it down is how big the wand is. It gets a little messy and isn't as good as it could be if the wand was smaller. The clear one is good though, as it doesn't matter if it goes on the skin.

Anyway, other than eyebrow pencil and gel I don't use any other products on my brows. I hardly ever use a concealer to neaten them either, but if I do I will use either the Benefit Erase Paste or the LA Girl Pro Conceal as they are the best concealers I have found for neatening up the brows.

I hope you liked this post guys, and I hope you are having a lovely day :)
Love, Abbie
